Book and Puzzle Donations:
Drop material (books and puzzles) donations off at the Yachats Public Library circulation desk during regular business hours. Please do not leave donations outside.
We ask that you limit the number of books and puzzles dropped at the Yachats Public Library to around 50 items. If your donation is larger, please arrange a time to drop off your donation at the back door of the Commons on 4th Street. The librarian can assist in arranging a time or you can call Sue May at (541) 961-3447.
Monetary gifts are gladly accepted. All donations are tax-deductible. We are happy to provide a receipt.
Please note, we cannot accept:
- Books with water or smoke damage, or smell of cigarette smoke or musty odors
- Books with broken spines, torn covers, and missing pages
- Ex-library books, unless stamped “withdrawn,” “released,” etc.
- VHS tapes or cassettes
- Magazines
- Encyclopedias
Many of our supporters choose to make one-time or recurring donations to Friends of Yachats Library or to make contributions in honor or memory of friends and loved ones.
